This was our first time hiking in the Green River Gorge. The trail was wider than we are used to and it appears that it followed along an old abandoned wagon road. The footing was “soft” in that it wasn’t rocky and there were no roots … just a flat, wide earthen trail.
We parked in the Bishop Creek Trailhead parking area and walked .3 miles down the road to get to the Pullium Creek TH. That added some mileage to our hike, but was of no real consequence as the road was relatively flat.
It was a great day and the best thing that happened on the entire hike was that Phil fell on his butt TWICE crossing Pullium Creek. Of course, I didn’t have my phone out for a picture. Dangit! But he fell TWICE and I saw him do it!
